"It is a decent start. Two goals and a clean sheet is exactly what you ask for in these opening rounds, though I noticed the left-back spent a fair amount of the second half contemplating his life choices. We will take the three points. Being top of the table after matchday two is a lovely feeling, provided one remembers there are thirty-six games left before anyone actually knows what they are doing. I have seen a lot of things in this game, but I suspect the celebrations will be limited to a slightly more expensive brand of tea in the dressing room. We have very little time to reset.
