We took the three points and we did it without too much fuss, which is a refreshing change. I think the players are pleased. I am pleased. I spent most of the second half wondering if my tie was crooked, but the scoreline suggests we managed the game reasonably well. We held onto a lead against a side that usually makes life very difficult. It is a good feeling, though I suspect the joy will last exactly until we wake up tomorrow. We have very little time to reset before the next matchday, so there will be no champagne. Just a few hours of sleep and then we go again. We will look at the footage, identify the mistakes, and try to repeat the pattern. It is a simple plan, though usually we find a way to make it complicated."
