Mancunia FC 1–1 Acton United: a fair share

We spent a good deal of the afternoon chasing shadows and wondering where the space had gone. It is a bit frustrating to leave it as a draw, but we cannot complain too much when we are reasonably tidy at the back. We did our bit. Then Sjaak Bisschop decided he wanted the spotlight, and he took it. He managed two goals for Heaton AFC in their game, which is a nice bit of symmetry for the league, I imagine. Our lot just couldn't quite find that same vein of form today. We will have a quick chat about the missed chances, and then we get on with it. There is very little time to reset before tomorrow. We will be back at it then, hopefully with a bit more conviction in the final third."
