Wellsford Athletic 1–2 Mancunia FC: a timely arrival

I think we were quite happy to be drawing it until the very end. Carlo has a habit of arriving exactly when the rest of us are starting to consider the walk back to the car park. It was a tidy finish, and it saves us from a very long conversation in the dressing room. I am pleased with the boys, though I suspect some of them are just relieved they didn't have to track back for another two minutes. We will enjoy the win for a few hours. Then we have to do it all again tomorrow, which is the slightly depressing part of the schedule. I might try to get a decent sandwich before the next one."
