One goal is rarely a comfort, but it is enough. We spent a fair bit of the match wondering if we had forgotten how to find the net, but the one we got stayed in. It is a professional way to handle it. I noticed the keeper spent a good deal of time adjusting his socks in the final ten minutes, which usually suggests a certain level of confidence. We will take the three points and move on. There is very little time to reset before tomorrow. We cannot afford to get too sentimental about a clean sheet when the next matchday is practically here. We will have a quiet evening and then we do it all again.
