Marlborough United settle for a draw

It isn't the result we wanted, but the 1-1 scoreline is a fair reflection of a game where we mostly just passed the ball from one side to the other. We had a few moments. We spent a fair bit of time wondering why the ball wouldn't go in. One of our defenders spent a good deal of the second half trying to untangle his laces. It is a bit frustrating, but that is the nature of it. We can't dwell on it for long because we play again tomorrow. There is very little time to reset. We'll watch Edgbaston FC continue their run of three wins from a distance and try to find a way to actually win a game ourselves. We'll be back in the dressing room and then back on the pitch. That is the way of things."
