We spent ninety minutes staring at each other, mostly. I think the most dramatic moment was when a pigeon landed on the touchline during the first half. We didn't create much, but then again, neither did they. It is a point. It is not a particularly shiny point, but it is ours. I suppose we can tell ourselves we were solid, provided we define solid as not having a clue how to score. We have tomorrow to figure it out. There is no time to dwell on the void where the goals should have been. I will go home and have a tea, and then I will start thinking about how to make the next one look slightly less like a rehearsal for a nap."
