"It was a quiet one. Not much to report, really.
We spent a fair amount of time passing the ball from one side to the other, which is a decent way to spend ninety minutes if you aren't particularly keen on scoring. I think the fans enjoyed the lack of drama. One fellow in the third row looked quite pleased that his thermos hadn't gone cold before something happened. We didn't create much. Not enough to worry Jesmond, certainly. We’ll have a look at the tape and try to find a way to actually threaten a goal tomorrow. It is a strange feeling knowing Quentin Egremont has hit five for the season over at Heaton. He seems to be finding them every time he breathes.
