Mancunia FC 1–2 Pendle Athletic: Otálora strikes late
Honorio Otálora decided he had seen enough of a draw. In the 90th minute, he found the net to hand Pendle Athletic a 2-1 victory over Mancunia FC. It was a timely intervention (and a very efficient way to avoid extra effort).
Acton United provided the day's most emphatic scoreline, visiting Edgbaston FC and leaving with a 4-1 win. Edgbaston will likely spend the evening wondering where their defensive line had gone. Elsewhere, Kirkby FC managed a 3-0 win over Sussex Athletic.
Marlborough United remain top of the table with 25 points after a 1-1 draw with Wigston FC. They are currently pursued by Jesmond AFC and Brixton AFC, both on 24 points. Brixton earned their tally today with a 2-1 win over Beeston AFC, while Jesmond settled for a 2-2 draw against Wednesbury Athletic.
The remaining results were mostly matters of small margins. Stepney FC, Hitchin Athletic, and Wessex United all secured 1-0 wins, while Aigburth FC beat Crookes United 2-0.
In the race for the Golden Boot, Arthur Fortesque holds the lead with seven goals. He remains the man to beat, provided the others can actually find the net.
