"A draw is a draw, I suppose.
We had a decent grip on things for a while, but then we did that thing where we forget how to keep the ball for ten minutes. Typical, really. I think the lads enjoyed the 2-2 scoreline a bit too much at points. There was one moment where our centre-back looked far more interested in a blade of grass than the opposing striker, which summed up the afternoon quite well. We cannot dwell on it for long. There is no time to sit around and wonder where it went wrong when we have another matchday tomorrow. It is a bit of a slog, this daily rhythm, but that is the life we have chosen. We will have a quick look at the tapes, try to remember how to defend a lead, and get on with it. Not the result I wanted, but it is what we get."
