"Fairly pleased, I suppose.
It is a decent result. We spent a good portion of the first half looking like we had forgotten how to pass a ball over ten yards, which is typical, really. But the boys sorted it out. Three goals is a healthy return, and the one we conceded was mostly down to a lapse in concentration that I am sure we can ignore for twenty-four hours. I noticed the tea in the dressing room was lukewarm, but we will take the three points. We didn't do anything particularly revolutionary, but it worked. It is a good feeling to get the win, especially given we have to do it all again tomorrow. There is very little time to actually enjoy the victory before we are back at it. We will take the points, have a quiet evening, and start preparing for the next matchday."
