Jesmond AFC move to second after clean sheet

Wednesday 29 July was a day for the cautious. Half the league settled for a draw, including Edgbaston and Aigburth, as well as Acton and Heaton. Kirkby and Wednesbury also shared the spoils. Brixton AFC and Wigston FC played out a 2-2 draw, which is a result that usually suggests neither side particularly wanted to win. Beeston and Crookes United managed the same scoreline.

Marlborough United remain top of the table with 10 points after a 1-1 draw with Pendle Athletic. They are followed by Jesmond AFC on 9 points and Brixton AFC on 8.
